Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Swimdraft (swimdraft.com), a service operated by Alconbury Tech Ltd, registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

Swimdraft turns notes, transcripts, and tables into BPMN 2.0 process diagrams that you can edit in your browser and export. Diagrams are generated by an AI model and validated against the OMG BPMN 2.0.2 specification. AI output can contain mistakes: you are responsible for reviewing diagrams before relying on them, and the service is not a substitute for professional process, legal, or compliance advice.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

Free tier, credits, and payments

• New accounts include 5 free diagram generations with all features.
• After the free allowance, generation requires credits. One credit covers one diagram generation, including automatic validation-repair attempts. Editing, validation, and exports are free.
• Credits do not expire and are non-transferable.
• If a generation fails for technical reasons, the charge is automatically refunded to your balance. Purchased credit packs are otherwise non-refundable except where required by law (see below).
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.

UK/EU consumers: you have a 14-day right to cancel a credit purchase for unused credits. By purchasing, you agree that credits become available immediately and that credits you spend within the cancellation period are excluded from any refund.

Your content

• You keep all rights to the content you submit and to the diagrams you generate. To run the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your submitted content, including passing it to our AI provider for generation.
• You must have the right to submit the content you upload. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or contains data you are not permitted to share.
• We do not claim ownership of generated diagrams, and you may use them commercially.

Acceptable use

• No attempts to break, overload, probe, or circumvent the service, its metering, or its security.
• No automated scraping or bulk generation beyond normal product use without our written agreement.
• No reselling of the service without our written agreement.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it fast and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund unused purchased credits.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death, personal injury, or fraud). Otherwise, our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on generated diagrams.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; where practical we will warn you first.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers retain any mandatory protections of their country of residence. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
